The UNDP office in Kazakhstan provides a wide range of services to its national partners in the process of implementation of projects and programmes, and to other UN agencies, funds, programmes and projects. Such services can include financial, procurement, human resources management and administrative activities and actions, and are provided according to UNDP policies and procedures.
The provision of services to partners during the implementation of projects is agreed and defined in the project documents, signed by UNDP and the National Implementing Partner. The provision of services to other UN entities (hereinafter referred to as “UN agrencies”), resident or non-resident in Kazakhstan, is provided at their request.
The services that UNDP office is providing are described below, along with details related to each service. In order to process the UN agency service requests in a timely manner, agencies are kindly asked to submit requests well in advance (each service has an indication of time needed to process it), provide complete information and give clear instructions to UNDP staff. UN agencies are also asked to nominate a focal point from the agency in order to streamline the communication regarding the service(s).
It is important that an Agency Service Request (Payment Authorization) form is submitted along with every request for services, containing service instructions, the Agency ULO number/Account Code or Chart of Accounts (COA), and signed by the agency Authorizing Officer. Our staff will not be able to take any action if the ASR is missing.
The cost of services provided by the UNDP country office is calculated according to the Global and Local Universal Price List (UPL). Staff services that are not included in the UPL shall be calculated as per real staff cost.
